Micro Chipping
Microchips are a way of permanently identifying your pet. The chip, which is the size of a grain of rice, is implanted / injected under the skin between the shoulder blades.
Each microchip is programmed with a unique identification number that links your pet to your home address and contact information. The information is picked up by a special scanner that is available at our practice and most rescue organizations.
When we do the implant, the information is sent to Virbac who places the information on a nationwide database. A registration form will be send to you with a password to access your own pet’s online details. These details can be updated as often as required.
This quick and easy identification gives you life-long peace of mind.
